I had my wisdom teeth pulled in May. It hurt like hell and they had to cut at bone to remove one. I needed codine afterwards and I couldn't eat regular foods for 2 weeks.

They had to cut the bottom one in half becuase a nerve ran through the middle of the roots. They also kept me awake while doing it (though I remember almost none of it becuae of the laughing gas).

So, I had actual surgery done rather than just a tooth pull.

I recall eating a hamburger by the end of the second day though, and despite some soreness, I my main complaint was sleeping alot becuase of the Perkeset.

i had the right side removed when i was in my early twenties....the dentist recommended that he remove all four teeth but being the scaredy cat that i am i opted for the side where one of them was coming out..


i recently started seeing a new dentist and asked if i should remove the other two before i had any problems...two dentists at the clinic looked at my x-rays and agreed that i would never have to pull them out because of how they were positioned in my mouth...

some dentist are worse then used car sales men so always get a second opinion (unless the sucker is hurting of course)..i went to one dentist a few years back who said i needed five teeth pulled (and two surrounding ones sanded down to a nub to accommidate a replacement tooth contraption)...my new dentist straight out said, "that dentist was trying to rip you off...your teeth are in good condition).....
