I volunteer at this gay youth group..and one night on my way up there, i met this GORGEOUS guy named Nate. Our eye contact was electric, to say the least. So we're in the youth center, and he just keeps looking at me, and i couldn't keep my eyes off of him either. I'm used to guys staring at me, but this was different because i was staring back, and we knew we were attracted to each other. We didn't get any alone time that whole night though. So when we get back in the car, he started talking about how the first crush he ever had was on a black guy, and how he thinks black guys are sooooo hawt. So he asked me if i would like to "hang out" sometime, and i said sure. So since i didn't have a phone yet, we exchanged screen names, and we've been talking since. People make a fuss over our age though, cuz i'm 21 and he's 17, but that doesn't even matter to me. Just like P said in Mornin' Papers "why is age more than a number, when it comes to love?" So i was working 3rd shift, and i'd come home to little instant messages on my screen from him saying stuff like "Hey baby, i love u" "Hey baby, i miss u" stuff like that. Now that i don't have that job anymore, we talk more frequently, but not as much as we should. He make plans for us, but something always comes up. and he's involved in sports, so he's busy a lot. He tells me that he thinks about me all the time, and how he can't sleep at night because i'm not with him, and the same thing is happening to me. He's on my mind ALL the time, i can't hardly sleep at night, i don't have an appetite, things that i was worried about don't even bother me anymore, this is crazy. I have insane butterflies in my stomach. I wish he was with me right now. I feel like i'm gonna cry out of happiness, and sadness, and this is driving me crazy. And this is the first time since i came out that i've felt so strong about someone. I can't take it. It's like the damn fates are against us or something. I've been playing "When 2 R in Love" like CRAZY. Now all those sappy ass love songs actually have relevance in my life. I don't see how people can see 2 guys being in love as evil. Love is beautiful in general. I just hope i don't do anything crazy, but i might...

Certainly better than me. I"m 30 and I have a bad habbit of hooking up with 18-21 year old girls---it's just at that age, girls almost always forgive you. And I often need to be forgiven. Probably why I got dumped recently.

I started actively posting in June but have been coming to the org for the last two years.

I'm a little shocked at the theory-- glamslamkid and I don't have remotely the same personalities or writing style. I figured I more closely be pegged with Dook.

My question would be what do you do as a volunteer for this youth group? Keep in mind that you might be in a position of some influence, and this could really backfire on you, much less the possibility that ethically there might be a problem. I would say that if you want to see this KID, hmmmm, then you resign as a volunteer. If you are there as a mentor, then be a mentor, don't date the youth.
