visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads as long as these sugar plums are just dancing around up there, everything's fine, right?
but what about when they start talking to us? or shouting rude things at passing strangers? is that normal too?

well california raisins or sugarplums, either way the thing has a spooky feel imo. it's just, that whole peom about the night before christmas and all through the house. . . blah blah visions of sugar plums dancing in our heads. . .
this has haunted me since childhood. why are they dancing in our heads? why can't they dance somewhere else? and what are we supposed to do when the party gets out of hand and they stop dancing and start getting rowdy?

I KNOW! You can't call the brain police! Those bastards should be dancing under the tree or out on the porch.
