From last year's thread.

In this order:

1. Buy the house I'm living in. Didn't work out. But that ended up being a good thing.

2. Get a new job. Nope.

3. Find a playmate for my dog. She gets lonely. Yes! A happy surprise. Not planned at all.

4. Evolve in my music. Didn't work on it one damn bit this year.

5. Get Darin to come visit me in Detroit. Maybe Denny will send him on that belated graduation pilgrimmage.

well....i left a bad work/living situation i was in from 2003 and into this year and i returned to my home. since then it has been a huge difference in my life and i am tons happier.
as for my musical aspirations, i am very disappointed in myself. i plan to change that in 2005. i haven't found a loved one yet this year but hopefully next year will be different. i am still regretting my decision to break up with my ex from August 2003. i will have to deal with that over time.
i started an environmental charity this year that is teaching me so much.

so on that basis, 2004 was not a bad year.

I started my journey this year. I didn't make a resolution but have done so much growing and learning that I'm happy with the way the year turned out.

A bad year for me in so many ways (the worst so far) but it's been the best year as far as my own personal progress goes.

This is what I said last year:

My goal is to find myself and a nice part-time job, get better, be a wonderful partner and take better care of my kids.
