I can find some men attractive but I could never actually have sex with one of them. I would find that so disgusting and unnatural.

A few posts ago, you said that you wanted to kiss John Mayer's "baby face". Are you sure you're not gay? confused

Once I was with my friend in her car and I was giving directions. I told her to go straight, and she says "Always forward, never straight, keep your options open."

Most people don't like labels. There's a continuum (however that's spelled), you know. wink

yup. sexuality is somewhat fluid. i think many people would be very shocked if they knew how many heterosexuals have had homosexual expierences and vice-versa. one of my favorite things about the quiz phenomanon was listing "sex with a woman" as an answer to "which of the following have i never done" and finiding out a vast majority selected that question and lost points for it.

yeah, i dont think many people can honestly be labeled as completely "straight" or completely "gay"

4 me personally, i would label myself as a 2 or 3 on the kinsey sexuality scale
(2=predominantly heterosexual with more than incidental homosexuality
3=ambisexuality)
wink

Yeah, the Kinsey scale is useful. I'm like a 2.75. smile

Have you seen the Kinsey movie? It's wonderful.

It only makes sense to me. Sexuality is so much more complicated, so much more a headspace thing, than who-has-what-genitalia. shrug

I find people who are very firmly on one side of the sexuality fence or the other pretty confusing, actually. I mean, I BELIEVE y'all, I just find it hard to grasp. . .how can gender be SO crucial to attraction? hmmm

The only guy that ever had me question my sexuality for a moment was Brad Pitt in Interview With a Vampire. I got all conflicted when I saw that one for the 1st time (I had to tell myself it was 'cause he looked like a woman in it).

james dean is quoted as once saying in an interview when asked if he was gay "well, i'm not gonna go through life with one arm tied behind my back, but i don't identify as gay" (paraphrased from memory limitations)

For me, it goes in stages or (hate to use the word, but) phases. I once figured I just really admired these women and wanted to be like them, so I became attracted to them as a way to merge with their energy. I guess I figure gay people want to have relationships and fall in love with the same sex... I don't, but I'm not completely closed to the possibility. There was one woman that I knew to have that affect on me, but she agreed with me that sooner or later we would want a dick.

Plus, just because you're attracted to someone, doesn't mean you want to "bone" them.

lol Androgyny is a beautiful thing, isn't it? lol

Brad said something about this in a documentary about the movie and it's homoerotic overtones. He said (paraphrasing) it's just energy, not male or female, but just the energy... so anything goes for vampires.
