Does your TV have an S-video input?

Yup...and I have the S-Video cable going from my computer directly into my TV. I'm not sure what I need to do to direct the signal there...I would think that it would just show up if it was connected... sad

I'm guessing there's probably a connector switch on your TV to change to the S-video input

Know also that it's not going to look as good on your TV as it would on your computer. Generally speaking, TVs have lower resolution than computer monitors. You've got to set up your computer to have the TV act as the monitor (usually setting the settings display to 800 x 600). Check here for more information

thumbs up!

I had to do this when trying out one of my nVidia cards' s-video out jacks a couple years back. It was all in the accompanying software.

Sometimes it's not just for watching movie files. Picture playing PC games using a 60 inch television. biggrin I've also used my television as a monitor in giving presentations (such as in Powerpoint).
