XMAS WHERE YOU LIVE? Christmas is celebrated all around the world, but I'm sure it's different where you live to where I live.
Here's some Cristmas traditions that we do each year. Carols By Candlelight - Carols by Candlelight is held every year in the week before Christmas, when thousands of people gather in the parks of the larger towns and cities to sing their favourite Christmas carols. It is generally agreed that "Carols by Candlelight" was started in Melbourne, Australia by radio announcer Norman Banks in 1937 after he saw a woman listening to carols alone by candlelight. Banks decided to do something to relieve the loneliness and isolation some feel during the Christmas period. He announced community carol singing for anyone who wanted to join in. The concept has grown in popularity over the years, and the recorded program is now broadcast the world over. Santa - Most of you guys think he has reindeers, but here we all know he has white Kangaroos to get around Australia.
Christmas Day - Now....we don't have snow!
Now everything else is pretty much the same. We have Christmas trees decorated and the gifts go under the tree. You guys might think this is strange, but we're used to it. What's your Christmas like where you are?

Dallas, TX
Last year it was around 70 Christmas Day and we're supposed to see some snow somehow later this week, but I don't hold my breath cause I'll pass out. It rarely sticks if it snows here but it's an interesting thing to see when it does. Everything shuts down (I guess they're testing it to make sure it isn't asbestos or cocaine) and life haults to enjoy the cold winter wonder. Christmas for me personally is very special because of tradition. My mom makes homemade cinnamon rolls (she has since I was little) and we listen to the John Denver and the Muppets album. There's magic to it. I still can't sleep Christmas Eve-having a blast giving folks things this year more than being excited about stuff I'm getting.

well here in chicago it is about 10 degree's F...Don't ask me what that is in Celcius cause I forget how to convert. There is snow on the ground I am cold...and it sucks to go outside to smoke cause I can't smoke inside, and if I wanna blaze one up I have to go outside and it sucks cause the cold weather can be a total buzz kill. As for christmas I have not finished my shopping...the 3 malls I went to today were packed and I was annoyed all to hell with all the little kids in the mall. Word to the parents leave your damn kids at home during the holiday season...the malls have enough people in the without your little shits running into everyone. THAT is what christmas is like for me.

Let's see...well...it's usually BUTT cold here...(right now it's 4 degrees F with a windchill of -14F Then we have another Christmas sometime between Christmas and the New Year to celebrate with the family members who couldn't make it to Christmas Eve (usually because of the in-law thing.) It's really confusing!
