Questions about DVD Burners..... 1) Should I get one?
2) What percentage of DVDs can you copy successfully? 100%? 75%? Less? 3) How is the quality of copied DVDs? Exactly the same as the original? Slightly worse? Frequent errors? Thanks!

1. Yes U should get one.
2. For me 25% or less due to copy write protections 3. Quality of DVDs is identical to the original Personally, I like DVD burners becuase you can copy home movies and stuff like that. You should see my vast collection of home sex videos. TIIIIGGGHT.

I have had 100% success so far lol, but have only just got one recently so I guess I have copied about 15...the worst thing was my dvd recorder (that cost a fortune) won't play all copied ones but the $60 player does grrr

You CAN copy DVDs, but it's a long process for most DVDs which are copy-protected. The other issue as far as DVD copying goes is that most DVD burners burn DVD-5 (single layer, can hold about 2 hours). Most commercial DVDs with extras, longer movies, etc., are DVD-9 (can hold approximately 4 hours and are called dual-layer or double-layer). There are DVD-R discs that are dual-layer but they are NOT cheap and you have to have a burner that supports that feature.

It's a DVD burner made for consumer use. I know that to copy movies (esp new ones) is difficult. However I do recommend them for ...Back up Storage...making your own DVDs out of the movies you have on your puter...though DVD players are getting more advanced and are now able to read and play many formats. I would say that the success rate of them is around 80%.
Not sure if I'd recommend getting one...copy protection is everywhere...even on crappy porn. So there's that. Christian Zombie Vampires
