I love egg nog! Always have! That's why it's the season I remember I even loved the green Borden carton it came in (I don't think borden makes it anymore, at least I never see it by them anymore). It tends to be really rich though, so my mom came up with mixing it with Vernors, which is a ginger drink that originated in Detroit, but apparently is sold everywhere now through Pepsi. It's damn good. I've never had alcholholic egg nog though, nor do my parents, who aren't big hard drinkers. Frankly, I'm the only one that likes egg nog anymore, so I buy it for myself.
As for selling it all year along, I think some stores might, but obiviously care less of it and probably only by one company that is willing to make it all year. | |
