Have you ever...

met someone in real life that you met on the org? Has anyone started a romantic relationship after meeting on the org? I am about to met someone great that I met here and was just wondering what you all though about it. So yes, don't hold back--discuss!!!

Stripe, you live in a wonderful country. I've been more than 20 times in Hungary - Budapest, Balaton, etc - and there is really something special there. And, the most beautiful girls in the world are there...

I think it is a fantastic idea. As long as you think you really know the person. Don't wanna be crazy now and go one driving to every guy on the org you meet! (Unless Prince posts around here... )

Well as I was somehow jacking your thread redface I thought i'd give some thoughts of mine to your original post as well lol.
I have met some orgers in real life, but I have not met them through the org. However I have met one of them also through the internet (a yahoo group to be exact) and only 6 weeks after our first contact via email my boyfriend and I flew from Europe to New York and visited him. He had been so kind to invite us and we stayed in his apartment for 2 weeks. We had not even spoken on the phone before (we had just exchanged long emails), so I was kinda nervous when we were standing on the airport waiting for him to pick us up as we had no idea how we would get along in real life. But we had a great time and I am happy that I decided to fly there.
Of course it is a different situation when it is only you and this guy...even if you think you know him well enough the situation can be very different when the 2 of you finally meet. So I would be careful, but if he seems like a real nice person I think you should give it a try.

I have met many Orgers in real life!

Dawntreader and Fhunkin and Whateva the most sweet additions of late!

No romance though. But loads of flirting.

It is hard meeting people on the net, as they are totally different in real life. And that is all about meeting someone romantically. You have expecatations and fantasies. Can't be helped.
