Physically, because you may say the wrong thing to the wrong person and they might be so angered by it, they could kill you. Emotionally, words can hurt because people say cruel things to each other. There may be a time that you say something about someone that sticks with them forever. There is a saying that "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." These words should be fully accepted. No one should have to suffer because of someone else's opinion. Be wise and pleasant in your speech. You should speak from your heart and say what's in your mind, but always remember three things: what goes around comes around; the tongue is powerful; and there's a right way to say everything. Before you speak, if you dwell on those three things, you will find that everything you say is positive. Being positive in speech is a good thing. "Words hurt," said 13-year-old China Brown. "Once a boy told me I was ugly, dirty and dumb. I knew I was none of those three things, but the fact that he said it made me embarrassed and angry. When I got home from school that day, I looked in the mirror for a long time asking myself if I were ugly. It is sometimes shameful to be criticized, especially in front of other people." She isn't the only one who feels that way. 16-year-old Donald, who didn't want his last name used, said, "Lots of boys tease me because I'm not in a gang and because I do well in school. Also they say I dress too neat. I'm sick of them." That's a form of peer pressure. But as you can see, criticism comes in all forms from every angle. I encouraged Donald to stand out and always do good for himself. Michael Wright said, "Words have a lasting effect on people. I believe that people who are insecure and unsure of who they are find it delightful to talk about others. "But those who have found themselves, have respect for themselves and love themselves don't have a reason to knock down the next person." Jamia Foster said, "I disagree. I used to talk about other people all the time and I only did it to laugh. I was sure of myself and loved myself very much. It wasn't so much that I found satisfaction in condemning the next person but I liked to laugh. But now, I've matured and found that words do hurt people. I lost my friends because I didn't realize that sooner." Would you like for someone to tease you for no reason? How would you feel? John Williams said, "It wouldn't matter to me because nothing they can say is degrading to me. I have too much self-respect to lower my IQ to ignorance. I would feel big and smart if someone teased me for no reason - especially if I don't say anything back. They will be showing their stupidity while I'm showing my intelligence." Twelve-year-old Asia Simpson says, "I'd feel hopeless and helpless if someone talked about me for no reason. I can't give an accurate answer because I have never been talked about for no reason. "People call me arrogant, uppity, self-existing and other names to that extent. But I let them know that they should be happy that someone else gets something new. I was always taught to live above my means. Just because I'm poor doesn't mean I have to live poor is what I explained to them." Talk with intelligence. It did not in any way shape or form flame anyone. It didn't serve as bate and it didn't harm anyone. So read it again and try to understand exactly that IMO this article has a very patronising tone and it SEEMS TO ME as if the WRITER OF THE ARTICLE, with that statement at the end of "even you" kind of says "yes, even you, you daft cunt reading my..." etc etc, as can be read in my initial post. So what exactly is the problem here? Beyond that, it was indeed a joke. that is why there were three at the end of the post.
