I can really get into pain sometimes, and the first one I had done was a very good experience. But I was too busy enjoying that to psych myself for the second one, so it hurt like a mutha. The third time (repiercing one after rejection) I was NOT in a good mood, not in a place where I could enjoy any piercing at all, and it was very unpleasant.
I've since had to remove both piercings, and when I have them redone (and I will, as the aftermath was very, very enjoyable  ) I will be better prepared for the headspace issues.
But hey, it's also just different for everybody.  | |

But hey, it's also just different for everybody. Well, for me it definitely helped that I was really attracted to the guy who pierced me. He also did my tattoo.
