Your Greatest Hits & Misses

The Org is so unpredictable.

My "Sticky: What happened to the stickies?" thread, where I encouraged Orgers to make up their own stickies, went over like a lead zeppelin. But my "Are you a biter?" thread-folder went up in flames faster than you can say "Orgers are a bunch of kinky bastards" Who knew? shrug

So, tell us: what was the thread you thought would take off like gangbusters, but bombed? And/or which of your threads surprised you with its popularity? pc

Any thread by CarrieLee disgusts me and surprises me with their success... shrug

Oh Teacher.... I like you alot!

May I ask you to not speak of CarrieLee that way. She is a great, great person.

I understand that you have a different connection with Carrie than I have, and that she's very appreciated by many on this site. I just don't see it, but I will honour your wish. hug

I'm surprised that any of my threads are read. In real life, most people ignore me. And poop on me.

Usually, my post is the kiss of death for a thread. A huge percentage of my posts are last posts. This one will be different.

Erm, I think my 'which Orger lives closest to you' was a bit of a surprise success. I didn't expect it to get over 200 replies first time round I did it. My other thread about the goat was also quite popular.

I think my more serious isse threads seem to fall away pretty quickly.

I didn't understand why your pub thread didn't do it confuse I liked it confused

But I also think it's about timing, sometimes there are sooo many great threads it's hard to chose. It also depends on who reacts first and how they react. wink

I guess I never started a thread that got more than ten responses. This may be because I usually start talking about music no one knows, or about films that everyone pretends to have not seen. It may also be because I never start Prince-threads, because I don't seem to know /want to know as much about this guy as the most of you do...

But, it may also be because I'm a more passive member, who mostly just reads and laughs... and it surely is because I don't have any friends here on the org cry

So basically, I'm boring, stupid, ignorant and arrogant! lol or wait... sad

I had threads titled, "A DUDE WITH MASSIVE BALLS AND A VAINY COCK." and "A BIRD WITH LONGS LEGS AND A WET PUSSY." etc. etc. etc. long before the [NSFW] irony reared it's drole (droll?) head, and they all sunk like a granite turd. But my "Bible preaches Evil?" thread is rocking with more wackos than 'Waco'.

*sigh* orgers these days.
