well first there's money. i've never had to only rely on my own cash and christmas is really draining all of it out of my bank account. in my head i know that it'll be fine because i'm getting paid regularly but soon my student loan repayments start and i'll be needing a raise. which brings me to the second thing that's overwhelming...

my job. sometime i want to leave, sometimes i want to tough it out and make a bad situation into a good one. all i know is that they're not trying to pay me more and i really do deserve a raise. they used the fact that i was very naive against me when they gave me my salary. fuckers.

my future. i really want to become a veterinarian but it just seems like it's so hard. everyone talks about how everyone who applies gets rejected and then it's so expensive and i'll never get out of debt blah, blahblah. again, in my head i know that some people have to get accepted into veterinary school because every year there's a new class. but my gut is still so nervous about every damn thing. sigh

i know things will be better in the new year. i just need to stop trying to do everything at once.

Gosh! hug

I don't really know how the educational system works over your side but I guess veterinary courses is just like here, very competitive.

I know money is always going to be an issue in the relms of the real world honey, but sometimes (in the long run of life) it may be worth the burden if being a veterinarian is what you really, truely and ultimately want to do in life nod

Jas, you're not just applying for a degree/major, you're actually applying for a profession. A 30-40 year career. It'll eventually pay back no doubt, financially and (perhaps more importantly) in the form of abstract self-satisfaction.

It's one of those that's easier said than done, I know..... but I also know that you have a good head on your shoulders and you'll seek good advice, combine your heart and your head and make the right decision smile You know yourself and your own abilities better than anybody else. If your ambitions and dreams are achievable, then don't just dream them... fulfil them.
