i keep seeing posts about 2the9s and so many other peeps who've left...i wanted to mention someone that i miss seeing around here. i didn't always agree with ewm but i enjoyed reading his posts. he was always interesting to read in the p&r forum and, outside of marilyn manson, his musical taste was pretty damn good!

anyway, just wanted to mention him as well since it seems so many forgot how much they enjoyed his presence. maybe he'll come back sometime...and maybe not...

where the hell did go, anyway?

He's a really cool person. I was a little nervous before the first time I met him cuz I thought he'd quiz on me on politics or something! But my preconceived notions were crazy! He's smart, very creative and really has a big heart, contrary to what some think. We all had a great time at our NYC meetup.

When the next Prince album comes out, he'll come back to tell us how much it sucked.

Though I mostly found him well spoken in his opinions, I did find him to be very baiting and not able to defend some of the crazy stuff he'd say that was really ...out there IMO. He liked to debate and stir up opposition just because. I don't find that very becoming. And most of his threads turned into shouting matches and flame wars and were usually infuriating reads. and IMO for all of this.

yeah, but most of those "flame wars" were started by other people who didn't like his opinions. the way i look at it is if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. if the guy said things that folkss didn't like...especially in the p&r room...they could have just said their peace and been done.

Often, I'd just avoid his posts like the plague. Just cos they always caused a riot.

But occasionally, I'd be in a certain weird mood and I'd search the P-Music forum for his work. Ahhhh, the enjoyment of watching EVERY thread he posted on immediately dissolve into a non-stop EWM bashing was a lot of fun at those times. I know he brought it on, but the persistance in those who followed him to smack him down was just insane. Good times

Where is EWM anyway? He's a fun person to debate with.

In any case, his constant wittering about the benefits of killing Iraqi, Afghan and Palestinian children were beyond tactless. The picture and jokey comments in this thread are gentle ribbing. I think you'll find that most people weren't even aware that he was banned, because he hasn't really been missed.

Not like some other people have been missed.
