DId anyone see the footage of the bridge ABOVE the clouds in the valley? Was on our 8 o'clock news last night, amazing view

Saw it on Amazing Structures on Discovery only a few weeks ago. To see how much work it was makes you appreciate it even more.

I don't know if this has been mention, but the Viaduc de Millau was designed by British architect Sir Norman Foster. Yes, it's higher than the Tour Eiffel, but it was also FUNDED by the same commission that originally funded the Tour Eiffel.

Moreover, Norman Foster also designed this wobbly thing for the Millenium in London:

Let's hope the Viaduc de Millau doesn't suffer the same problems that the Millenium Bridge did when it first opened thumbs up!

Reminds me of the bridge in Spain I saw in Ronda...it's around 200-300 years old, and is stunning in person:

The only reason that your town is not 'old' & 'nasty' is because the Germans bombed it during WWII.....the only good thing the Germans did.....( eek only joking.... lol )
