Depends how many MB/GB the files are in total and whether or not you're burning at the max speed.

Hmm, which DMA mode ( http://www.helpwithwindow...to-05.html ) is it running at? Is your HD severely fragmentated and or are you running other programs while burning?

Thanks again

Every program is the same up to "Primary IDE channel" but
i don't get that window after clicking on that
But , besides that i don't have a clue about what i'm doing , really
so i guess i'd better leave it to someone that does before i ruin things

Thanks for your time , tho

No. My final guess is that in your BIOS settings U-DMA is disabled.

Sometines the amount of space left on your HDD causes a problem because the program is not able to copy everything at once, that or memory

Thanks again , guys

The packaging says my memory is sufficient
and my HD has enough space (over 50 GB)

Are you burning on a double-layer dvd disc? If so, these are notoriuosly slow in burning. if it's a DVD rewriteable it also slower than the 16x.
You don't scare me; i got kids
