i think now that we have a highly publicized case involving a well-to-do white man on death row, we might actually see some reform in capital punishment over the next few years.

OJ should've gotten it too.

BUt that's not important right now.

I think Anxiety likes Prince too much.

I might surprise ya, but I ain't too keen on the death penalty...

i have never agreed with the death penalty and i never will.

though, none of its going to matter once his appeal goes through and the case is remanded back to the district court for an error free trial.

I'm not too familiar with laws in California, but don't they only execute one person per year there? If thats the case, he'll probabbly be dead before his time comes to get executed anyhow.

I am against the death penalty.

Im all about people like that getting the death penalty. He shouldnt be given the opportunity to spend anyones hard earned dollars on his living expenses. He is not even worth bread and water.

I'm sort of pro-death penalty. My only resrevations are that it tends to cost more than keeping a person in prison for life (and seriously, what is the difference...you're going to die in prison sooner or later) costs LESS than excutating a person. Also, there's always that chance that they got the wrong guy (something that happens way to frequently when the suspect is a minority).

As for Peterson, I'm very surprised by the cheers considering most of the stuff I keep hearing on radio says that he shouldn't even have been found guilty. What!? And what do you think these same people said about OJ? Yep! I think both are guilty. I know this for sure. It probably wasn't an easy trail to be a juror on.

See, if it happens, it won't be for like 16 to 18 years, lawyers and legal specialists say. Also, I've heard that it ends up costing more to put a person to death than to keep them in prison for life (probably teh court system gets tied up).
