Is there is a reason that I, with my broader than broad broadband internet linkage, am staring at a white page that won't load?

They are making a movie. LotR let loose the Lion. And the Wardrobe, of course.

probably the same reason i'm staring at a white page that won't load. I had that happen once or twice. I just kept trying. You might try the link from Aintitcoolnews. mmm hmm. i've seen some very bad movie treatments of these books i've liked the cartoon and "puppet" versions that i've seen...i never really saw them as definitive tellings of the stories, but rather just nice little storybook television adaptations...what i remember seeing was pleasant enough to me. i don't know that i've seen the BBC miniseries, though. just a cartoon version a long time ago, and something that was mostly (or maybe all) puppets.

is that seriously an image of aslan from the film? he's going to look that much like a real lion? (i'm guessing that IS a real lion) i truly hope so...aslan is one of my most favorite children's book characters, and a contributing factor to why i got my lion tattoo (which of course led to my avatar). if they mess him up in the movie, i'll be royally peeved.
