Word has it that Colossus has a much bigger role in X3.

I have a feeling you are right.

His brief presence in X-2 was probably just a tantalising teaser for what is to come in part three.

The WOLVERINE movie will b cool if based on the Frank Miller mini-series (IMHO)

This is precisely what I was referring to!

I think the Claremont-Miller mini-series is crying out for a serious Wolverine movie adaptation, one that does not go overboard with silly and predictable special effects.

This would serve to confuse/enlighten the hordes of ignoramuses who persist in churning out the fallacy that comic book adaptations are all special effect pyrotechnics with minimal dramatic content.

I love how the X-movies have done this. Rather than cram too many characters into the movie, ultimately not spending enough time with them, they just introduce them briefly enough that we get a tease of things to come. The character gets established, but not too in-depth.

Heather Locklear should have received an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Abby.

That would kick ass! They could then do a second film that was based on the Kitty Pride/Wolverine mini, since it featured a whole lot of those plot points. Wolvie could have his own franchise, as well as being an X-Man (much like the comics!).
