writing about yourself

i'm finishing this supplemental application for a veterinary school and one of the questions they ask me is how my diverse cultural background will help in making me a better veterinarian. I do have a diverse cultural background, one that is certainly underrepresented at this particulr school, but i have no idea how in the hell it makes me a better anything.

i hate having to write about myself. damn nosey admissiona people. mad

Helps you to relate to others,to understand the emotional needs of the pet owners? Might be BS, but I'd take it and run. nod thumbs up!
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Those things are ALWAYS forced and corny....no problem hon hug rose

I think they look for organization of ideas and how well you use the writing process... I don't think they put much stock into what you have to say on those things, they just want to see how well you can write
