I look around and I see nothing but people getting larger and larger, which makes the pretty poeple stand out even more. Although I'd honestly place myself in the pretty person catagory, it's very unearving to look around and see so little variation now.

It seems the "normal" semi-nerdy guy no longer exists. Even if a person (he or she) has a nerdy look, it's more like a hollywood mockup of nerdy than the real thing. I mean slap some thick rimmed glasses on Brad Pitt and you still have Brad Pitt.

The real nerds--the ones who came out of the shadows after Lalapalooza (unwillingly), have receding into the darkness again, leaving me with a fattening society of poeple with plastic super models scattered througout.

Is being a little nerdy stil chic, or has that theme played itself out?
