So I was watching HBO's Real Sex awhile ago, and they were talking about "Gay for Pay" which I'd never heard of! Apparently around 40-50% of male actors in guy-on-guy films are straight and just do gay films because it pays a lot more money! I just found that to be absolutely amazing! Any thoughts on this one?

That's because in straight porn...you are watching the girl...not the guy. Sometimes all you need is a dick and no face shot of the guy. In gay porn, it's all about the face...usually. It's about showing both guys. Also there is ALOT more straight porn than gay porn...so there's a lot of cheap porn houses/shops. I also find it very hard to believe that 50% of gay porn actors are straight. I think it's closer to maybe 25% and they are all probably bi. But then again gay porn has regaled itself to crap...at least the mainstream stuff.

That's definitly true. I heard about this also. I just find it hard to believe that so many "straight" guys would do this. Most of the straight guys I know are somewhat homophobic. The ones that aren't still cannot even think about being with a man. I think that a lot of these guys may have tenedencies. Probably only a few are really 100% straight. Then again money and fame can cause people to do things they say they would never do.

How do you really know if someone is gay or straight beyond what they tell you? I've had several friends who used to dance at gay bars, initially saying they were straight and just doing it for the cash, and 5-6 years later that I've known them, most have eventually admitted they were bi/gay.

Many of these gay porn performers tour bars and bathhouses as well, and what they do there would really make you think twice about them being straight...
