It's A Wonderful Life OMG! I'd forgotten how great this film is.
My mum has it on DVD and she urged me to borrow it from her and watch it. I don't think I'd seen it for about five years. I had a headache before I watched it. The movie's just finished - I'm a mess but my headache's gone. Amazing.

Actually, the film's patten ran out during the 80's and that is the reason why all the T.V. stations played it so often--they didn't have to pay royalties on it and they save a bundle.
I never much cared for the film, but I did like it's message. I'm not a big Christmas person I guess cuase I"m not Christian, but it "IS" a movie I associate with the season now.

Yeah the copyright ran out in the early seventies because of a clerical error but apparently it's been renewed now, so you won't be seeing it on public broadcasting again anytime soon. I'd love to know what the world would be like if I was never born.

Moderator | It's my favorite movie of all time! In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Moderator | Oh! Here's a little interesting fact... Sesame Street ripped the names for Burt and Ernie from this film. The cab driver and cop seen together through out the film are called Burt and Ernie.
Also it was filmed in August, the snow seen in the movie is actually Kellogg's corn flakes. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
