today, i was out with my girlfriend, we stopped at a gas station, i was in getting my diet coke for the long ride ahead, and i heard this guy go up to the counter and ask for matches.... im a smoker, so i know what that cry means i turned around, and it was a guy dressing in all army clothes (looked real nice too ) anyway.. the man behind the counter said "no, sorry" and the guy just walked out.

i hurried up and put my drink down, looked at the man behind the counter and said, hey, im buying this lighter for him, i'll be right back - then i tossed my wallet to him so he wouldnt think i was stealing it, ran out to the parking lot and said, hey, do you need a light ? the guy was like GOD YES I DO !!! i said cool, i just bought this for ya, have a great day

he looked at me all surprised, took it and said, hey, thank you...


totally meaningless, its just a lighter, and i gave it to him for total unhealthy reasons, but, hey, it felt great to do something nice for someone i didnt even know. when i went in to pay for my coke, the guy didnt put the lighter on my charge, i asked him and he said "not sure if i did or not lets not worry about it" so see, it goes to show you, go out of your way and it comes right back

i think i wanna find a way to make this feeling happen everyday.. it was cool

And i'm thinking "okay. this bitch is a fucking psycho, and i'm trying to make it to my 22nd birthday." So i walk her back to the deli cooler, and lo and behold, the bacon is sitting right there. so i point to it and say "HERE is the bacon"

So she looked at me, picked up the bacon, looked at the package, and said..."NAW.MENOWANNDIS"

Bitch.....

"what kind of bacon are you looking for, because it's all here..."
"YOUNOEARWHAMESAY?MENOWANNDISS!!BLOODCOTNAMON.."
So i gave the fuck up. I threw my hands in the air and said "WHATEVER." and went back to my register. Then she comes up front WITH the bacon and goes through the express lane. Fuckingbitches.....i fucking hate people.

Your thread inspired me. I was at the bank this afternoon, and the old lady in front of me had just cashed her pension check. So I lifted her purse from her so she wouldn't have to carry that big heavy bag around anymore.
