we used ... "I Will" in our own written vows ( yes married in a church )

No.....But my wife-to-be did get my name wrong!! OK, she only got my middle name (Mark) and first name the wrong way round, but our friend, Mark, raised an eyebrow at least!

No... 'twas thinking, "What in the hell am I doing marrying a man I met four months ago!?".
But, it lasted ten years (twelve if you count the time we've been married since I left)... wasn't all bad and I was blessed with two beautiful children and a best friend, even though he's being an ass right now. | |

About 10 minutes before the ceremony, a friend of my wife's said something to me that I think was supposed to be a word of encouragement and positivity.....but managed to be totally the wrong thing to say. I was tempted there and then to jump in the car and get the hell outta there....:  | |
