So I found out today that this position I have been wanting to get…they chose someone else. I am really upset as though I was their top candidate…they kept looking until they found someone better. But here’s the thing, they only chose this person because they have more experience in a piece of software, that I have used but just not as much. This application, I think would not be used THAT much…at least not as much as they are thinking. I doesn’t make a lot of sense, as this is an application EVERYONE on the team should know, but for some reason, only this position needs to know it. I have also been doing the job…pretty much for the last oh 6 months ON TOP of my regular job. I know all about it and what needs to happen. They have to pay this person more and train them to get them up to speed. I dunno, I really feel taken advantage of…doing all of this extra work for nothing. Plus having to stay at my present crappy job. They could have chosen me and I would have excelled at the job. There is MUCH more to this that I wont get into, but I wish they had given me the chance, as I HAD proved myself. The only silver lining in this..I don't have to support this person anymore that I was ...so now I have just 3 managers to assist. Still my days will be lighter. Oh and I asked her to nominate me for Service Excellence award or Best Shot or something for ALL of the hard work I put in (at least I spoke up about that).

Then as a cherry to my sundae. My other boss had a job interview to do and she was running late. Now, this guy has been here before and last time, she showed up 20 min late and then greeted him and disappeared. He left after waiting 40 minutes. She said she really wanted to interview this guy, so I went downstairs to tell her he had been waiting already 10 minutes (he meeting was over and she was hanging out afterwards). She snaps at me that She knows she has an appointment and she’ll be right up. I gave her a look that showed I was shocked at her attitude and simply reminded her of the last time and that she wanted to meet him. That just burned my balls!!! Then she has me set up a call for 2:30…the guy calls at just then to ask if she can talk. She says she’ll call him back in 5 minutes. Never did.

5pm cannot get here too sooner today
