Do You Drink Water Every Day? If So, How Much? I've recently started drinking water in order to help me with weight loss. I've cut out drinking all carbonated beverages, and just drink plain water instead. Drinking water is nice, but the one thing I hate about it is having to run to the bathroom every 15-20 minutes. It's a good thing I'm not working right now, because my boss would be looking at me like: I drink probably about 4-6 glasses per day, going to try to increase it to the recommended 8 glasses per day (although that will make me run to the bathroom even more). The water I drink seems to go in one way and out the other, but I try to think of it as flushing all toxins/fats out of my system. I tell myself that I have to drink water; it's the healthy thing to do. It will probably help me to lose the weight a little faster than if I didn't drink water, and kept drinking the high-sugar sodas that I used to drink. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Hey Psychodelicide!
Glad to hear UR drinking UR water. Yes, it is essential in weight loss. You should drink 64 ounces (8 glasses) a day. Unfortunately, running back and forth to the bathroom goes along with it. Drinking soda is like having dessert - high in empty calories and sugar, whihc turns to fat when it gets metabolized. I'm a personal trainer and fitness instructor so I know the benefits of drinking water. If you want any tips, org note me. I'll be glad to help ya. (P.S. - That cinnamon recipe is for cheat days only! )

YOu know I almost never drink water. (I don't even have a good reason why, probably my incredibly small bladder) I recomend it though. Not only will it help you flush toxins out, but it will help your skin stay clear and wrinkle free as well. "a poor fool indeed is a man who adopts a manner of thinking for others"

I don't drink enough water, but I need to. I try to make sure my 3-year-old drinks lots of it, though. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

i have an empty grapefruit juice bottle i use for my water bottle. it's about 16-20 ounces or so, and i know if i drink one full bottle and then perhaps a glass more each day i'm ok. that way it's easier, because to me the idea of 'eight glasses per day' calls to mind an image of numerous trips to the water jug, pouring one glass after another, which in turn seems entirely tedious. which is why i recommend the water bottle approach. just my 2c

....yep...alot.. It's just hard to believe someone drinks about 2-3 glasses of water every hour. But it's good cleans your body from all the smoking you do I stick to tea, coke when I'm at home, and coffee and water at work. I think I drink about 1/4-1/2 gallon a day.

I drink several glasses of water a day and I dont drink soft drink (soda) much at all.
I need the water to balance up my alcohol intake. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

I drink water constantly at work. I can't afford to pay 25p every time I want a coffee. In fact, I can't afford to eat at work, so drinking water fills me up until I get home and eat.
