For those of you who live alone...

When you go to the bathroom or take a shower, do you still close the door behind you??...Or do you keep it open, knowing nobody will walk in on you?? Or is it a combination of the two?? (open when you take a shower, closed when you take a bath, etc...)...And whichever way you do it, why do you do it this way??..lol

The doors open when I take a shower, but closed when I'm on the toilet.

I live by mself in my big house, lovin' it. I close the door when I'm taking a shower because I like to keep the steam in. For anything else, though, hell, I leave it open. Whose gonna see?
What about you? You didn't state what it is you do, or don't you live alone?

I leave the door open...always...when I'm in the shower it's so the steam doesn't build up in the bathroom...I live in an old house and there is no exhaust fan.
When I'm using the facilities ( ) I leave it open because the cats are usually on the other side of the door meowing like mad to get in (they're nosey!)

I leave the bathroom door open. If I close it one of my kids or the dog will come and open it.

But if I hear people outside and its dark I close the door

I keep the door open when I go to the bathroom, but when I shower I close the door so the steam won't fill up the whole appartement.

Naw when I lived alone, I left it totally open. Why not?

I close the door when showering (mainly for the same reasons you said)...I don't take baths (my tub doesn't exactly make taking one tempting)...and as for when I answer Mother Nature's call (heh), I tend to keep it open when answering ring #1..lol..and, no, I had not realized that until just now.

I shwoer with thte door closed, as my shower cabin opens up directly onto the hall and it get's messy otherwise.

On the toilet? I most often keep the door open cuz my cat ( ) loves to come in with me...

Before my brother was there...

I half closed the bathroom door when showering, and/or when doing #1 or #2.

Simply because my kitchen window is directly across from the bathroom.

I don't want my neighbor Tim to get scared!

I do shut the door to the toilet though. I think that is the decent thing to do.

When I'm home alone, I still always close the bathroom door, regardless of what I'm doing in there.

Actually, I'm much more likely to leave it open while showering (to let the steam out) if somebody is home. If I'm by myself, it makes me nervous to not be able to hear (boogeymen, Cloudbuster crawling out from under my bed, whateva) over the sound of the water, so I close and lock the door. Crazy? Probably.
