THE PLANE FACT IS THAT FROGS MAY CROAK


n Dr Daniel Pickford, top below, has grave concerns over the well-being of frogs which live near Luton Airport





FRISKY frogs are in danger of being killed off by aircraft pollution.

Residents living around Luton Airport are being urged to take part in university research looking into how pollution has had a detrimental effect on the sexual prowess of frogs and toads.

It is thought the amorous amphibians are being badly affected in Luton and North Hertfordshire because of the high number of homes surrounding the airport, which in turn house frogs in back gardens and ponds
