I with Emm on this one. I got hit, drove home and was fine. The next day I couldn't move my neck. Found out I'd herniated two discs in my neck.

Be careful and take care of yourself.

OMG...yes! If one pupil is dilated and one isn't...get your firm butt to a hospital...ASAP!

Signs and symptoms

The signs and symptoms of a concussion can be subtle and may not immediately appear. Symptoms can last for days, weeks or longer.

Your behavior, mental ability and physical skills all are linked to specific areas of the brain. The severity and side effects of a head injury depend greatly on which area of the brain was most affected.

Immediate signs and symptoms of a concussion may include:

Confusion
Amnesia
Headache
Loss of consciousness after injury
Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
Drowsiness
Nausea
Vomiting
Unequal pupil size
Convulsions
Unusual eye movements
Slurred speech
Delayed signs and symptoms may include:

Irritability
Headaches
Depression
Sleep disturbances
Fatigue
Personality changes
Poor concentration
Trouble with memory
Getting lost or becoming easily confused
Increased sensitivity to sounds, lights and distractions
Loss of sense of taste or smell
Difficulty with gait or in coordinating use of limbs
If you experience any of these signs and symptoms after suffering head trauma, see your doctor.

I had a concussion once, and it's nothing to fool around with. I slipped on an icy driveway (the ice was so thin that I couldn't see it), and I fell backwards and hit my head on the concrete. I had a raging headache that lasted for days (could not sleep), was throwing up a lot, and I even lost my sense of taste and smell for 6 whole months! I went to the emergency room I think the night after it happened, because my pupils were not dilating correctly, and I was still throwing up. I would not wish a concussion on anyone, they are a real unpleasant thing to have to go through.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I hope you're okay, and I hope the person who hit you has car insurance, so you don't have to go through what I did to get the car fixed without having to pay anything.

Me too, it's hard to break this Heavenly angel
Never broken any bones, and had a few accidents in my life.
-Fallen from 2nd floor.
-Flew off my motorcycles twice.
-Hit a wall with a car on the first day of rain.
-Hit my head 3 at different times as a kid.
-Flew a few yards after trying to stop my bicycle only using the front breaks.
-Riding my roller skates at 30 mph and losing control, making me skid on my ass in the middle of a fast lane.

Always came out fine...well, at least physically nutty
