If it was an accident and the cat accidentally fell/jumped out, that'd be one thing, a sad story but this the physical act of hurting an animal like that is just too much. People are desensitized by the news alone so who knows? I'd like to think the vast majority would teach their kids not to do this or at least have the sense to not have to do that to feel any sort of emotion, but there are definitely some sick people out there. all her life she's rescued animals - she's had cats, dogs, birds, even snakes and lizards that she's rescued (they used to live on a property where there was lots of wildlife and now they live on one where there's even more ) she had a cat from when she was a child which was a present and now they have 3 pups that they bought...every single other animal they've had has been rescued from a drain, the rubbish, the pound etc even two horses! they've got two horses which were both ex- "trotters" that had injuries so weren't able to race any more - over here that's usually a death sentence Lindell saw to it that these two didn't end up that way I've always looked up to her for the way she's got such a big heart like that!!! I remember just once instance - we stopped in on a freeway in the absolute pouring rain years ago now because there was a dog trying to cross the road - Lindell made sure it got across safely how cool is that!!! For your stepmum and dad for rescuing all of those precious animals! I have often said that if I had a lot of acreage, I would have TONS of animals, I love them that much. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I have a pug, and he is one of the loves of my life. He is completely insane, and coming from me that says alot . My pug Chester has brought me so much joy and happiness, that it seems unbelievably vulgar to throw a cat out of a window of a car moving car.Its sad to think how many lives that the cat could have touched.
I know in a lot of cities there are programs now where people can donate cats or dogs to senior homes, because the companionship that a dog or cat can bring to somebody who may not get that much attention is a gift in itself. The type of person who would harm a cat in such a vile manner, is nobody I think any of us want to know. Its such a blatent disregard for life, and a purely innocent life at that. I don't know why my last post was messed up,
People that will do something that bad to an animal probably wouldn't think twice about hurting people. There's new laws in NY state that were just passed that have harsher penalties for animal abusers. The only thing you can do if you see something is call the police and take pictures if you have a camera or a phone that takes pictures. If you see abuse or neglect in a public place you have every right to take pictures for evidence for the police or SPCA. L'm not sure if it's on private property, I think I would if it was outside, if it was inside a private building I would just call the authorities so they can handle it. Too many people just look the other way. There's lots of ways to help rescue groups,Just call a couple and ask what they need to have done "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

I've got the same news channel on tonight, and they have a follow up to this story. Seems that the issue is being investigated by the APL (which it SHOULD be), and the man who saw this happen is going to file a report regarding this incident. Hopefully someone who has some info about this case will come forward, so the assholes involved can get severely punished. I have the feeling I'm going to keep this channel on for awhile, to see what happens. I'm hoping for a happy ending. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
