But I do like chocolates, and candy. and I can't wait to try egg nogg, even though some people say it doesn't taste very good.

yay...a lot of egg nog fans here. I love Egg-nog too.....can't have Christmas without it. Edy's make an egg nog ice cream..... it's good. TCBY does too....except it's yogurt.

Sugar Cookies with powder sugar mixed frosting, for sure. Anything sugar, really.

Peppermint candy canes, Yum. Great for prekiss preparation when no Altoids are near. ~Smile. A bit sticky, but Yum all the same.

I love candy canes but I think I like Xmas cookies even more. I have really fond memories of making cookies with a woman who was a friend of the family but more like second mother/third grandmother to me for many years. She'd make about 12 different kinds of cookies all in one day. She'd let me help and never got impatient with me and would always let me taste the dough and have as many of each kind of cookie I wanted fresh outta the oven. We'd spend an entire day making them.

my gram's krumkake

She has the iron that her mom had when she was a little girl. It is the one and only thing I wish to have passed down to me


We (my mom & I) lived with my grandparents for 10 years when I was younger and I always looked forward to making krumkake with them. Papa & I would always joke that one was too light or too dark and eat them right away She still makes them every year. I should make it a point to be there when she does this year
