For liking Notting Hill...

So I like romantic comedy...

While You Were Sleeping.
Four Weddings And A Funeral.
Ever After.
Notting Hill.

I can't help myself. I even dare wager that Ever After is a classic. I have seen it like 20 times and it still does not bore me. The acting is superb. It is delisciously witty. And I should be horribly ashamed of myzelf and I don't. Even though I named TWO movies with Hugh Grant in it.

PS. Real fans know from which movie I picked the title of this thread.

I do have to say...that if it's got Julia in it I steer clear...if it's got Hugh Grant in it, I steer clear. Then again if someone says romantic comedy...I usually steer clear, as it means I'll be seeing Meg Ryan or Sandra Bullox involved in some predictable plot with tears and chuckles and maybe a single mom or two with really precocious kids. And always a sappy ending.

Now cross one of those movies with a movie like SAW...then you got me. Like if Meg Ryan and Sandra were the two chained up in SAW...I'd be rivited!

'sok, kitty! while I'm not a big fan of those, I have to admit I thought that "Miss Congeniality" was a comedy classic. We all have our moments of bad taste
