TV and body stuff I am currently without cable and have not watched a ton of television since I've moved. at first i thought that this would majorly suck and i would end up getting cable later on but then i realized that since i;ve been without tv, my body image has gone up so much. i don;t look that much different but i certainly don;t fret as much about the size of my belly or thighs. it's been wonderful and it's probably because i'm not looking at airbrushed waifs all day. has anyone else experienced this kind of a thing ever?

I've unplugged my TV months ago, and even thuogh I loved watching TV, I don't feel like I miss it.
My body hasn't changed though. I'm still the same skinny high with a teenage voice

Well, when my TV was on, it was on all the time too. I wouldn't watch it all the time, but I had to have something that'll make a noise. something that'll 'keep me company' so to speak. I'd also sleep with it on, but that's because I'd just watch it until I fell asleep, and it'll just stay on. I'm very happy that 've unplugged my TV.

When I'm reading I find the radio is much better for company as it's less of a distraction, but while I work on the computer (like now, 3am ) I just need some other visual stimulation going on to give my eyes a rest every now and then. I also use it as a 'tool' for getting me to sleep - I can get severe insomia if I don't manage myself properly, and because I will be too 'tired' to read, yet too 'awake' to sleep, I usually flick on the TV untill I can't take anymore (usually Star Academy or some shit). Other than that, I never 'watch'-watch tv and have no schedule with it, an no idea of what the regular programs are (oh except Star Academy ) ..... BULLSEYE!
