I don't know about the Orange jumpsuits but Queens day did sound like a perfect gig!

Queen's Day has nothing to do with fags, but with the birthday of the previous Queen, Juliana. She would drag her entire family into the country and visit two cities, just to celebrate her b-day with the country.

It's the only day it's legal to sell stuff on the street without permit (except dodgy food). SO loads of people use it to sell their old stuff.

The people who don't sell stuff get drunk. The are street parties all through Amsterdam. The night before is a party for the Amsterdammers, but Queen's Day has many people from outside the city visiting the parties.

It is mad, but fun. I know the kewl places!
