Anyone start their christmas shopping?

Are you going to buy a lot of stuff for your family or what? Is it stressful?

no...I'm not buying christmas presents this year because I'm saving to go overseas. I have a couple of things for my best friend's children and that's it - and those I have only because I bought them a long time ago

my secret santa here and the kids are the only one's getting presents from me this year lol

Yep, I have.. nod

Gift buying is easy for me...I just go to the two or three stores that I know always carry unique and interesting gifts, browse for awhile...and something will catch my eye and a person's name will automatically enter my thoughts as I look at it...then I buy it. smile

I keep my eye out through the year for things different people will like- sometimes I even keep things for years. Then I don't have to worry about the crowds and what to get all at the time when I should be enjoying the season, and they get something meaningful and special instead of something I got in a rush.

Try it smile

I can't do that...either I'm too anxious to give it to them (no way I could wait 2 months to send it to them..lol), or I'll find something else I like better in the months between buying the gift early and giving it to them in December.

I do that too! smile Also, I have such a huge family that it helps to get presents throughout the year rather than all at once.
