I'm very glad things turned out the way they did. I was shy , and still am, so it was not about making a choice to wait. I just knew I wanted to spend my life with this woman after we'd been together a few days, and I'm happy I've never made love to anyone else. I'll live a whole lifetime having only been with this one person and the thought of that definitely makes me feel good.

Thanks. I feel very lucky to have met the girl I did when I did and have everything turn out like this. The timing and everything was perfect. I know she's my soul mate. As well as feeling lucky in this way I feel kinda proud sometimes. We were having a few drinks with a couple of my wife's girlfriends one time and talking about this very issue and when they heard our story they just went all mushy and told my wife how lucky she is. Can't help but feel a little chuffed about that, from two girls who so want to find the right man. It's not like it was a really conscious thing, like I had amazing willpower to fight women off. I'm just thankful for my character and personality being the way it is and getting me to the point I was at, being 19 years old and meeting the girl of my dreams having never been with anyone.
