Ultimately it probably isn't such a bad idea. Teach us to like and more so love the flaws in the fabric that defines us as individuals. Think about it.. It would dispel the myth that some creature we have created in our heads or hearts is right for us at all. Maybe more of us would start living and stop fantasizing.

He likes music. Might even MAKE music.
He knows what he want (me, logically), but without losing his own personality. He like to hang with friends or family, but also loves time just for the two of us. He will need, just like I do, some time of the day to himself'; we would both get testy if we were in eachother's face all of the time.
He would be jealous about me spending time with my ex, but he would trust me. Even though he would show his obvious jealousy.
He would be happy that I am creative, would encourage me when down. He likes cats and dogs. Loves to clean. Loves to cook. (two things I'm not good at). Let's throw in 'loves gardening' as well.
