I've assisted with chlamydia tests in the past and the way we did them was very much like a smear, still not pleasent i know but....

i guess better than infertility in the long run

Ouch! STD testing in general isn't very pleasant. I had to go through it about a year ago after my sonofabitchpieceofshitfuckingretardbastard ex-boyfriend cheated on me with some whore. And, to make the story even nastier, some dude was hitting on me at the clinic. Who the hell is tries to pick someone up at a freakin' STD clinic?! Who?!

Luckily, everything turned out alright, but waiting for the results is a terrible thing.

yes, the chlamydia test is a urine sample, the swab of the urethra ia for gonorrhea.
