SCHOOL OF DOLPHINS SAVE 4 PEOPLE FROM A GREAT WHITE: UPDATE Don't know if this was mentioned on here last week, but just in case - this is such a wonderful, touching story that it's worth bringing up again.
Last week the papers were full of reports of a school of dolphins warding off a Great White attack on a man, his daughter and two of her friends off the coast of New Zealand. Mr Howes stated to the press he owed the dolphins their very lives, and that they had swum closly around them, nudging them together gently until the Great White departed. What a close call...and what a wonderful story to be able to live to tell. Dolphins....they're just bloody amazing, awe-inspiring beautiful creatures ain't they?

YES, my mum saw it on da news the other day and was telling me about this!! I love dolphins!! They are such incredible creatures and are just purely gorgeous too  No hablo espanol,no!

Come Joey bruv, this story doesn't hit your soft spot man? Besides, there's a lot of animal lovers on here, and I'm sure it touches them, like me. Just the sheer bravery of these selfless creatures is amazing..... and here we are, humans, apparently gifted with greater "intelligence" going around doing what we do
