I've got 896 email addresses in my PC's address book. I'm not sure whom 75% of them are. Is this normal?

Do people with multiple accounts e-mail their other identities?

hehe i had 500 something a while back....so i decided it was too much to look through and deleted them all and started over

I just think it's not normal that you post the addresses of people who might like their e-mail adres to be kept private and personal...

Justin, do you use Outlook? If so, there's a function on it that extracts the addresses from all received emails and adds them to you address book. I think the function may also extract any addresses from within the email txt itself, depending on how it's configured. Either way it's annoying, and it might be the reason you've gained so many addresses....but you CAN turn it off.

The thought that somebody might "harvest" the addresses never crossed my mind. I'm obviously not as suspicious, fucked-up and cynical as you are.
