Dunno, but it's not exact so it's unlikely to be an equation. If you multiply 1234567.8 by 3 to the power 4 then it doesn't give you 99999!

it's just a sum, but it can still be expressed as a mathematical formula. The fact that the result is 12345...blah blah, is no big deal though. So yep, to moth.

oh, and the reason it doesn't come out as 99999 is just your calculator rounding the number up when you work the other way. The answer's actually 1234567.8 recurring.

Brain automatically rounds up after 10 decimal places, I guess it just comes from being a child of the 80's. I have been decimalised, can't override it.
