i loved the "husbands and brides" woody allen parody, with judy davis as the bride of frankenstein. that's one of my all-time favorite movies, and they just NAILED it. i've thought about getting the DVD box set just for that skit.

Wow -- I'd like to see that. H&W is one of my favorites too -- because of Judy davis. I worked in a movie theater when that was out, and I'd watch the trailer every time I could. He performance was incredible -- so FRICKING REAL!!!! I even liked Juliette Lewis in it.
let me come over it's a beautiful day to play with you in the dark

i loved every performance in that movie - as characterizations go, i think it was tops. certainly one of my favorite woody movies ever, if not my most favorite. have you heard the rumor about how judy davis actually won the oscar for "husbands and wives" but jack palance read the card wrong when he was announcing the winner, and said marissa tomei's name by accident? lol i could just see judy fuming at the back of the auditorium with a cigarette in her hand.

My favorite Woody for sure, and in my Top 10 for all movies. What a great look into his psyche at the time and how closely it mirrored the Soon-Yi affair. Disturbingly entertaining!

I can COMPLETELY believe that about the Oscars -- crazy old coot!!! Hee-hee. What a crime -- legitimate or not -- for Marisa to get it over Judy. Oscars are for asses. (I'm gonna win one!!!)

I loved the parody of "Cops" whenever it ran on the show & I thought that "Cape Munster", the parody of "Cape Fear" with Eddie Munster in the DeNIro role was BRILLIANT!!!!

I bought the box set when it was released and it still makes me laugh out loud.
