I'd like to get to know you all better... Hi, my real name's John Williamson but my stage name is John P.
I'd like to get to know you all better, because I used to be a much more frequent poster and thread starter in the GD, but these days I really can say I know you GD guys as well. So, a little bit about myself: I changed my name to John P because John Williamson is a famous country singer in this country, Australia. "P" is my middle initial, which stands for Phillip and also P-Funk Lover. And when I say P-Funk, I mean all of George Clinton's creations and also people like Prince. Anyhoo, I have a girlfriend who lives in Oregon and I just returned from a trip there about a month ago. I just finished recording an EP of music over there and its called "Hologram". I've beeb flaunting this music quite a bit and have a possible deal happening with Warner Bros. if all things go smoothly. Here is the cover from that: Anyway guys. We can finally all MEET on this thread!

Good call, John....
My name is Paul Rementer (yes, I'm obsessed with Friendster so look me up and add me as a friend! Ha!). I was born and raised in the Bay Area in California. I was dragged to Colorado my senior year of high school because my dad transferred out there. So, I ended up going to the University of Colorado at Boulder (the most beautiful place in the universe), graduated, and moved back to the Bay Area for work. I currently work at the headquarters of a major retailer and I crunch sales and inventory numbers for their Intimate Apparel division (yes, Paul is a panty peddler). I'm currently single, but I'm always on the lookout for females who: a) like Prince b) can handle a guy who likes cats (I have a cat named Cynthia Rose - I know, I'm clever). I don't have an album cover picture, but I have a picture of me pimpin it up in Vegas:

From Bio & Press Release:
With a ten-year history of classical and jazz training in piano, saxophone, and guitar, DeRon has a unique appreciation for the artistry of music. However, this background merely laid the foundation for what would DeRon become. With early professional production in the mid nineties, he was drafted into the hip-hop scene. His production received underground recognition across the states; nevertheless this was not the true road DeRon wanted take. While the minor success and appreciation was gratifying, DeRon felt the limits of compromising his artistry for a commercial sound. In an attempt to show how truly universal music could be, DeRon offered the independent scene his first true solo effort in 2001 under the alias of Azariah. The album was entitled “The Healing”. It was an exotic mixture of jazz, rock, and world music. This recording was the maverick for the eclectic, electric, experimental sound that DeRon now likes to call “ocean music”. After recording various projects under a mixture of monikers such as Azariah, Empathy In Love, Modern Kitten Theory, DJ Iceberg, Cure for Cancer, and a host of others, DeRon is finally ready to take off his mask and reveal his true talents with his latest project, "The Ministry of You". ..... PALISADE HILLS UNVEILS “GROUNDBREAKING” NEW RELEASE Founder of online cyber-label releases highly praised music project. (November 2, 2004)- Ever since 1998, entrepreneur and independent musical visionary, DeRon, has single-handedly owned and operated the Palisade Hills record label. After recording various projects under a mixture of monikers such as Azariah, Empathy In Love, Modern Kitten Theory, DJ Iceberg, Cure for Cancer, and a host of others, DeRon is finally ready to take off his mask and reveal his true talents with his latest project, “The Ministry of You”. Over the years, Palisade Hills has grown into one of the most vital online musical alliances around. Recorded in only a matter of months, "The Ministry of You" is a project that will leave his congregation in astonishment. "From the first note to the last, "The Ministry of You" is nothing short of groundbreaking" raves writer Tracy Carter. The comparisons here are evident and felt throughout the album. Ranging from that of the leaders of the early electronic persuasion, Kraftwerk, on the hit single “When I Want Romance”, to the influence of the modern-day artistry of Massive Attack, or possibly early Björk, on tracks like “Little Blue Riddles” and “I Want To Move To London”. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Independent singer/songwriter Norine Braun proclaims that there are “wonderful instrumental grooves to relax with this terrific down tempo collection”. Overall, DeRon offers an assortment of elements from the modern electronic scene, hip-hop, traditional Oriental music, and even New Age. The album is now on sale at CDBaby.com, TowerRecords.com, and Viztas.com. More news and information on DeRon or other Palisade Hills artists can be found at PalisadeHills.com. ### [Edited 11/24/04 14:49pm]
