My oh my, what an interesting few weeks I've had.

Remember I went back to Denver for the trial of the guy who broke into my house? Well, we went to trial, and charges got reversed back onto me for violating HIS civil rights, and I've been in jail for 3 weeks until I could post bond!!!! can you believe that??? No, you can't? Good, cause it ain't true.

Anyway, the trial was continued, or delayed, for 3 weeks. I go back to denver next week and hopefully get this chit wrapped up. I was so psyched to have it end, and get my stuff back. And then -- BAM! Coitus interuptous! -- it doesn't happen. If it gets delayed again he could walk because of Colorado's speedy trial provisions. Anyhoo....

I returned to L.A. the following day, showed up to work to be fired 2 hours later. Ouchie. I've never been fired in all my 34 years. In fact, every job I've had, I've left on good terms and returned at a later date. Including this one! They called me in Colorado a year and a half after I left and asked me to come back because the new Director needed someone with experience. Long story short, she and I never saw eye to eye on how to accomplish anything. When push came to shove, she's the boss, and pushed hard.

Aside from a bruised ego and dwindling pocketbook, I'm doing well. Very well, actually. Like Sag's sig says, some environments need to be changed. I would not have left on my own because of needing a paycheck and a misplaced sense of loyalty. So once again, the universe hurls me toward uncovering my destiny. And I'm going to take the opportunity to make my acting career take off. I'll be doing my headshots soon and taking a giant leap. Oh, what a feeling!!!!!

Anyway, I've missed you guys -- I don't have an internet connection at home, so my online time is resticted to one hour blocks at the library that don't give me much time to play. I'm hangin out in the Bay Area this week with friends, so I get my first extensive play time today. YEE-Hah!!!!!
