Last night I had a dream that my mom had a sort of crystal ball type thing filled with water and inside it was a blue marble (that in the dream I thought my dad carried around with him for some reason) and a shrunken head with really gross eyeballs.
It freaked me out so bad I woke up in the middle of the night. I told my mom about it today and she said that my dad DID carry a blue marble around with him all the time!!! (She also told me that she was wishing she could find a way to bring him back -- which isn't a surprise -- but didn't know how.)
My dad had a little coin purse (totally european man thing to do) and he kept the BLUE marble in there! My mom is going to find the marble and give it to me.
Somehow I just keep wondering if I saw the marble at some point and forgot about it or something. But, I don't think so because I never went through my dad's things.
Has anything like this ever happened to any of you?

I dunno...I just think that maybe the memory of the marble was in my subconcious. I'll know better once I actually see what it looks like and how different it is from the one in my dream.

Ok! It wasn't one of my best jokes.

Definitely sounds like he's saying hi.

The blue marble is a way through memories to keep him alive.

I usually have very vivid dreams, and have had mostly deja vu experiences in those ways-but nothing that specific.

Anyway...back to topic! Like I've said to you before, I think you were ment to have the blue marble and your dad just didn't get around to giving it to you. So maybe he's sending you some signs.

I think that it could be a message from your Dad, if you believe in things of that nature, I'm not even sure I do. But, I've had weird dreams also. I dreamed that my grandfather was in a dream where my aunt died and I was trying to get to him b/c I missed him, but people kept stopping me to give me a hug and I never got to him. He had been dead for about a year at this time. It freaked me out, the next week my grandmother passed. My sister thinks that maybe in the dream I thought it was my aunt but it was really my grandmother. I don't know, but it was weird. Just consider yourself lucky. There are people I have lost and I wish I could have a dream where I thought they were sending me a message.

Well this didn't involve an object but I believe my grandma came to me in a dream. Before this dream I had been having feelings of regret and sadness because my grandmother died suddenly and I was so caught up in my damn dramas that I lost touch with her and didn't really get to say all the things I felt before she passed. I started having some dreams involving her but this one was astounding.

In the dream I was walking down my grandma’s old street when she lived here in California (she moved to Arkansas when I was 12) So I’m walking down her old street and it is completely deserted. There was the eeriest silence. There was no sound, other than me walking towards her house. There were no cars driving on distant streets. There were no kids playing nearby. There weren’t even any birds. Imagine no chirps in the middle of the day. It was very strange.

I came upon her old house and thought I’d go up and ask the people that lived there if I could come in for a few minutes to reminisce. I walked up to the door and noticed it was open a tiny bit. I knocked and nobody answered. I peeked through the crack into the living room and noticed that the living room was empty. I walk in. There must be nobody living there because it’s completely empty. No furniture, no pictures, nothing. I call out and nobody answers.
I start going from room to room and just remembering things and how much fun I had there. How much love used to be there. I went to her old room where she used to do her arts and crafts and that door was ajar about an inch. Through the crack I could see that it wasn’t empty like the rest of the house. When I pushed the door open, right in the middle of the room stood my grandma. I instantly burst into tears and I ran to her and clutched her tight, telling her I loved her and that I missed her. Then the most incredible thing happened…………….I smelled her. She told me the same thing that was said in other dreams: “Silly why would you miss me, I’m right here with you” and she touched my heart with her hand when she said that. I don’t think I ever recall smelling anything in my dreams. As soon as I smelled her, I bolted out of my sleep. It shocked me out of my slumber and I had tears on my face. And for a few fleeting seconds after I awoke I could still smell her scent.
