A couple of my female coworkers did it awhile ago...it didn't really work for them and I don't think they would do it again. BUT, I've thought about doing it myself - I think it might be a good way to meet some females where there would be a mutual attraction right off the bat - they're there to meet guys, you're there to meet girls so if you both choose eachother, than at least you know there's a mutual attraction....I dunno though.... | |

Ugh, a friend of mine called me because she and another girl were going to try to this speed dating thing. I didn't think it was such a good idea, and I told my friend that. I think I pissed her off, because I haven't talked to her since.  RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |

I saw this docu. on T.V. last night, C4. It mentioned that speed dating is fast becoming big phenomenon on the U.K. singles scene..... esp. amongst asian!

i tried it in the summer... was very nervous going in to the event but quickly realized that it was just meeting others... nothing to get worked up over.
the seven minutes per person went very quickly... met some nice people and had two matches but realized after i wasn't that interested in seeing them again... was more curious if anyone would pick me!
