Anyone remember this early 90's tv series? About a teenage girl and the "troubles" of everyday teenage girl life!

very, very corny (like "cosby show") and had everyone's fav hunk Joey Lawranace (remember his hit signle "nothin' my love can't fix"!).....


plus the crush I had on Blossoms best friend six was huge! Y won't tv show this again.....I can't find any pics of this show online either?

I saw Joey lawrance in a John Travolta film caled "chains of gold"! John looked good (not fat) and it musta been a late 80's film by the sheer look of it! Maybe it was a high class tv movie.....wasn't bad either!


I still got Joey's album.....I recently, to my amazement, saw another Joey album called "soulmates".....someone actually thought he would sell.....

It was a decent show. Jenna Von Oy's character Six was my favorite for some reason.

I used to call Blossom's friend Six, "Sex", just to be a smartass.

True, in fact, I'm watching a rerun of "The Cosby Show" now as we speak. I "The Cosby Show" and a "Different World", they're two of my favorite sitcoms.

"a differnt world" is alright.....definately a Newjack show (like "in living color") so very dated now.....and the glasses that dwane (is that right) had! his friend reminded me of morris day a bit!


It was a spin off of "cosby show" 4 older sis' denise yet she was not in most of them? WTF? Maybe they fired her 'cause her acting was so shit !

I still have jasmine guys album! remember newjack stomper "try me" and the poppy "another like my lover"? I still have the vid to "try me".....she dancers like Hammer.....fun to watch! "don't want money" was a good pop song also.....even with it's obvious "opposites attract" links.....

I wanted to be just like Six but I was always more like Blossom. I used to love that show when I was 8,9 years old. I even had a book about it. And such a crush on Joey. When they did a show which featured his music video at the end it was the highlight of my month. I still remember what the video was like. And when his other show came on I watched it too. I think it was called "Brotherly Love" or something and had his brothers on it.

I've heard that Bill Cosby and Denise (Lisa Bonet) did not get along well, so that could be why Denise wasn't in most of the episodes. In fact, most of the episodes seem to be about Dwayne and Whitley.

Haven't heard Jasmine Guy's album or watched her video, but she sure had the clothes, didn't she? I loved her outfits, she was always dressed very sharp. Jasmine played a very good part as Whitley, with her snooty attitude.

I've been watching that show for years and never figured it out as I ain't seen Blossom 4 about 10-11 years now.....damn I fancied her as a kid and still do as Iam and now she is an adult!

Yeah, whitley's part was cool.....I was always a little disturbed when she turned up, looking very fine, in the eddie murphy movie "harlem nights" when that movie I think came out in '89! A bit young (though not underage of course) but u think eddoe woulda found someone loder wouldn't u? She plays the part well though!

Did not know about the Cosby/bonet situation! The early episodes seem worse to me anyway.....Sinbad featured more in the later episodes too! I like Sinbad! Infact, Sinbad was not in early episodes if I remember? Denise was boring anyway.....

There is a poster on the message board for Blossom on IMDB that mentions that they have all the episodes and have put them on DVD, and will put them on eBay if inerested....

Since you brought up Jasmine, I remember one slow cut on her album which was pretty tight called,"I Just Want To Hold You Tight." I think that was one of her best songs to date. But you know what really was a trip was Debbie Allen's solo project which was less successful than Jasmine.
