I hope I will be able to breastfeed, I'm hoping to have one more child after this one, the surgeon said don't rule it out but don't count on it either, techniques are better now but a drastic reduction still needs a free nipple graft usually. Maybe if it's really important to you, you should wait and do it after you had your other child, although my children never got breastfed and I don't think it's bad. Lots of freedom for yourself makes you more relaxed which is also good for your baby, the bonding with the father and other members of the family is also better. Good luck with making your choice

Good luck with making your choice My choice is already made. I am not considering another pregnancy without a reduction first, simply for the fact that if my breasts grow again from the estrogen exposure I will not be able to find a bra - already weqaring biggest I could find on internet, not to mention i won't be able to stand up straight and will be in constant excruciating back pain. The next baby can even be carried around in a baby bjorn sling- breasts too big too use one with baby Max.

Unfortunately, even though the DR recommends I have the surgery, my insurance company won't pay for it. Anyone had the surgery? Anything you can tell me about it? Is it true you could go without a bra for the rest of your life afterwards? For about 5 grand (or there abouts) you clan have it done in Thailand by an american board certified sergean, stay their for an entire week in a five star luxury hotel, and recieve first class treatment the entire time. 20/20 did a story on whether it was ethical or safe, and they determined that it was indeed safe, but openned the door for the possibility (beleive it or not) of addiction to casual pastic surgery becuase it was so much cheaper than it is in the states.

True. Plus they'll boil up what's left and put it in a nice spicy soup for u to take home. Don't worry, the surgeons drink lots of Red Bull so they're really alert.
